School Chaplain

We are looking for a thoughtful and inspiring School Chaplain to play a central role in the spiritual life of our community.

This is a unique opportunity to provide pastoral care, guidance and leadership within a vibrant boarding environment, supporting pupils and staff of all faiths and none. The Chaplain will nurture a culture of reflection, compassion and service, helping to shape the values and character of the School.

• Term Time Only
• Bloxham School is a thriving school with a warm and friendly staff community.
• Our school day starts at 8.30 am and finishes at 6pm Monday to Friday.
• Academic lessons end at 3.30pm after which our staff contribute to broader curricular activities, academic drop-ins and pastoral meetings.
• Saturday lessons are from 8.30am -12.00.
• The pastoral service we offer at Bloxham School matters hugely to us and therefore all teachers are tutors. If you are a senior tutor, you will be expected to carry out one evening duty per week in their boarding house from 6.45-10.00pm and if a junior tutor, once a fortnight from 6pm-9pm.
