Sales Development Representative

As a key member of the Sales Development team, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities to support GBG’s growth strategy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and is passionate about engaging with prospects to uncover their challenges and align them with GBG’s solutions. You’ll work closely with Business Development Directors and Marketing to build a strong pipeline, leveraging outbound outreach, and strategic account research. Your success will be measured by your ability to create meaningful conversations, book high quality meetings, and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.

What you will do

  • Proactively generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, targeted emails, and social media engagement
  • Build a strong understanding of key industry sectors and articulate how solutions deliver value to each market.
  • Plan, execute, and manage daily, weekly, and monthly outbound sales campaigns to drive pipeline activity.
  • Consistently meet or exceed agreed activity metrics and sales development targets.
  • Collaborate closely with the New Business Sales team to support sector specific outreach campaigns and initiatives.

Skills we are looking for

  • Experience in a Sales Development Representative role or a similar sales focused background.
  • Demonstrated success working in a target-driven, performance-oriented sales setting.
  • Familiarity with technology based products or SaaS solutions is advantageous.
  • Collaborative team player with experience contributing to the development of sales and marketing propositions.Highly detail oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and driven to achieve results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence and commercial acumen to present compelling value propositions.
