Job Description:

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic, driven, and customer‑focused individual to join our Ely team as a Sales Adviser.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business opportunities, boost market share, and represent haart across the Ely area.
  • Ensure that daily/weekly/monthly business targets are always met.
  • Custodian of the Spicerhaart Ways for valuation generation activities within branch operations.
  • Communicate proactively with all valuation opportunities in the ROSIE software system, ensuring high outbound call volumes and maintaining touchpoints.
  • Ensure all call‑out campaigns for properties for sale are fulfilled and ROSIE operating standards maintained.
  • Attend morning meetings prepared with updates on the week’s valuation pipeline.
  • Lead as the Canvassing Champion, implementing a structured door‑knocking and zone canvassing strategy, tracking new listings, withdrawn properties, and generating leads.
  • Engage in daily 1:1 meetings with line manager to identify coaching and business development opportunities.
  • Manage and respond to portal opportunities through Rightmove Opportunity Manager and On the Market Valuation Manager.
  • Manage and respond to intranet leads daily.
  • Use ROSIE to manage local Owner‑to‑Sell customers, maintaining frequent communication with relevant discussion to close valuation opportunities.
  • Generate referral business through first‑class customer engagement.
  • Engage in local canvassing and prospecting activities, including social media, door‑knocking, telephone prospecting, and leaflet distribution.
  • Manage inbound calls, ensuring applicant registration is fulfilled and all opportunities for valuations, viewings and financial services are identified and closed.
  • Seek named 5* Google review opportunities from customers to build brand and personal reputation.

Training & Development

  • One week at the Spicerhaart Learning & Development Centre at our purpose‑built location.
  • Industry‑leading training delivered through one‑to‑one and group sessions.
  • Day‑to‑day learning led by industry experts.
  • Full‑paid hotel stay during training at the Learning & Development Centre in Colchester, depending on travel time and distance.
  • Second week at the L&D Centre within first five‑to‑six weeks of employment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • £25,000 basic salary.
  • Complete on target earnings of £42,000 per year.
  • Additional commission scheme.

  • Full‑time working hours: 8:30am to 6pm, four weekdays per week, and 9am to 5pm every Saturday.

Qualifications

  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Access to own vehicle, which must be in good condition.
  • Proof of business insurance for vehicle prior to starting.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Basic IT proficiency and keen eye for detail.
  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK as per the Immigration, Asylum, and Nationality Act 2006.
  • Evidence of right to work in the UK: passport or birth certificate.

Legal & Company Commitments

If you are successful in your application for this role but voluntarily leave within the first 12 months of employment, you may be required to reimburse the company for the costs associated with your training programme.

Company financial commitments to annual eye tests and glasses are subject to the Eye Test Policy.
