Arc’teryx is expanding across Europe and we’re looking for a passionate Lead (all genders) to drive the guest experience, product, people, and operations at our Bicester store.
Your Opportunity at Arc’teryx
We grow across Europe with a culture of curiosity, learning by doing, and a long‑term path in retail. Our “Leave It Better” spirit shapes how we work.
As an Arc’teryx Lead, here’s what you’d be doing:
- Lead with Purpose: embody the Arc’teryx Vision, Purpose, and Values—bringing leadership, awareness, and energy to every shift on the floor.
- Elevate the Guest Experience: support the team in delivering world‑class service by sharing product knowledge, coaching Product Guides, and leading from the floor five days a week.
- Drive the Business Forward: help oversee all five pillars of the store—experience, product, community, operations and people—while managing inventory, visual merchandising and daily operations.
- Build Community & Connection: share brand stories and event details with guests and teammates, making everyone feel welcome and inspired to join in.
- Communicate & Collaborate: keep the team aligned by sharing company updates, supporting store procedures, and partnering with leadership to meet goals.
- Operate with Excellence: manage transactions, open and close the store, and use tools to track sales, labour and budgets—keeping everything running smoothly.
Life in Our Stores
You’ll be part of a team that enjoys spending time outdoors together, shares product knowledge, builds strong guest relationships, and takes pride in the details. The work is hands‑on, thoughtful and rooted in connection to the outdoors and community.
Are you our next Lead?
- Leadership Experience: 1+ years of leadership and retail experience, with a natural ability to coach, motivate and unlock potential in others.
- Guest‑Centric Mindset: a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering brand loyalty through service, storytelling and community engagement.
- Operational Excellence: strong organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage inventory, scheduling and team performance.
- Language Skills: fluency in both the local language (e.g., German) and English is essential.
- Flexibility: willingness to work key retail periods (e.g., Black Friday and holiday season) and ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
Hours: Full‑Time | 5 days a week
Compensation: Salaried | Base + bonus
