Sales Development Representative – Zendbox eCommerce Fulfilment
Base pay range: £32,500-35,000 basic. Hybrid – 3 days on site, 2 days WFH. Commission structure. 25 days holiday + birthday day off.
About the Role
Kickstart your sales career in a role where you are trusted, supported, and given real responsibility from day one. We’re looking for an ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join a fast‑growing, tech‑led eCommerce fulfilment and distribution business based near Tonbridge, Kent.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Engage inbound leads – follow up with prospects already interested in our solutions, understand their needs, and move them to the next step in the sales process.
- Proactive outbound outreach – identify and reach out to potential customers through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to build a strong, high‑quality pipeline.
- Run customer meetings on Teams – host discovery calls and intro meetings, qualify opportunities, and ensure prospects have a great first experience.
- Support our partnership programme – nurture and grow partner relationships by coordinating calls, following up on opportunities, and keeping everything running smoothly.
- Work closely with the Head of Sales – collaborate directly to maximise sales opportunities, refine messaging, and learn proven sales strategies.
- Participate in customer visits – gain valuable exposure to how long‑term relationships are built.
- Own clear targets – concrete goals around number of calls, meetings booked, and sales closed, with coaching, tools, and feedback to hit (and beat) them.
Requirements
- Early in your sales career: recently graduated with a degree in business, management, sales, or a related field. Ideally 2‑3 years of sales experience and a desire to step into a more strategic, growth‑focused environment.
- Confident communicator – enjoy speaking to people, asking smart questions, and turning conversations into opportunities on the phone, Teams, or in person.
- Comfortable on camera – as our marketing ramps up, you’ll have the chance to be involved in video content and other front‑facing activities.
- Driven and goal‑oriented – you like having clear targets, tracking progress, and celebrating wins. Competitive in a healthy way and motivated by results.
- Curious and eager to learn – want to understand our product, our customers, and what makes a great sales process, and you are open to feedback and coaching.
