Job Description:

As Head RDS Insurance Sales UK & Ireland, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our Solutions business in Insurance and Public Sector market segments. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deepen relationships with existing clients and develop new revenue streams, particularly with non-clients and in adjacent segments. This role is key to expanding our fee-based income and supporting the growth of our core RDS Insurance Solutions offerings.

KeyResponsibilities:

Drive sales ofRDS Insurance Solutionsproducts,consultingservicesandanalytics projects for theUnited Kingdom & Irelandmarkets.

Lead a team of sales and customer success professionals creating a high performing team to successfully achieve annual plan ambitions aligned to global standards

Own the regional Market Unit relationships and partner with the MU heads to execute the RDS Insurance regional plan

Establishannual businessplanand derive individual sales targetsfor yourself and your team members

Deliverregional andindividual fee-based revenue targets in alignment with annual businessplanning

Execute theimplementation ofthe go-to-market strategy acrossUnited Kingdom & Ireland.

Build andmaintainstrong relationships with prospective and existing clients.

Conduct thorough clients’ needs analysis to identify new opportunities andidentify and prospectpotential clients and leads through various channels.

Manage a robust sales pipeline of qualified leads.

Present compelling sales pitches and product demonstrations to articulate value propositions.

Lead negotiations and close deals to meet/exceedsales objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance outreach and business development strategies.

Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.

Maintain a solid understanding ofSwiss Re’s IP assets andtechnologies, products, and consulting capabilities.

Provide structured feedback to product and delivery teams to inform development and commercial improvements.

Keepaccuraterecords in the CRM system and prepare regular sales reports and forecastsforsenior management.

About you

At least15years of experience in salesand leading teams, preferably within financial, consulting, or technology services

Deep knowledge of the P&C insurance industry across underwriting, claims, risk management, and technology

Strong existing network within the P&C sectorand a proventrack recordof consistently achieving sales targets

Exceptional prospecting and lead-generation skills

Skilled communicator with a consultative, client-first approachand ability to translatecustomer needs into solutions that address them

Experience influencing senior stakeholdersandC-suite decision-makers

Motivated, results-driven, and team-oriented

Comfortable making independent decisions while aligning with broader business objectives

Experience leading and building high performing sales teams

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office two to three days per week on average.

The base salary range for this position is between £144,000 and £216,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibities of the role,• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
