Overview
Air Charter Service is a global leader in aircraft chartering. Our Commercial Jets team specialises in arranging complex group charter solutions for a wide range of industries, including professional sports teams, touring musicians, event organisers, and many other blue-chip organisations worldwide.
We have an exciting, year-long opportunity for an undergrad student looking to gain work experience in sales within the Commercial Jets world.
Responsibilities
- Assist brokers with their portfolio of clients
- Develop an expert understanding of the Commercial aircraft and chartering process
- Liaise with clients, airlines and airports
- Assist the broker with charter bookings from enquiry to post-flight report
- Flight watching/overseeing flight departures and flight repping
- Ad hoc administration tasks
The Placement
- Duration: 12 months, ideally starting August – September 2026
- Based at our Surbiton Headquarters
- Working hours: predominantly 09:00 – 17:30 Monday-Friday (varies with industry needs)
- Training will be provided
- Travel opportunities will be given
Qualifications
Key Skills & Experience
- The successful candidate must be currently studying, ideally working towards a degree in Aviation, Airline, Airport or Business Management
- An interest in sales and/or aviation is essential
- Previous experience working in a customer facing role
- Hardworking and flexible (this is simply not a 9-5)
- Exceptional communication skills, fluency in a second language is an advantage
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong resilience with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Flexible with the ability to travel often and at times, with short notice
- Must live within a commutable distance to the job location
- Driver’s License desirable

- This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, please only apply if you are available full time between September 2026 and September 2027
- £25,000 per annum starting salary
