Part Time Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties – St Austell
Part Time Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties, 24 hours per week over 3 days (including Saturday) with a salary of £16,881 per annum plus pension and company benefits. Join our Brewers Decorator Centre in St Austell and provide exceptional service to our customers. The role includes contactless deliveries in and around the local area. Experience with our products isn’t required; strong customer service and teamwork skills are essential.
The St Austell branch is located on Par Moor Road in St Austell Bay Business Park. Branch hours are Monday to Friday 7am-5pm and Saturday 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional service to customers in the branch, supporting our reputation for quality Brewers service.
- Using product knowledge to recommend products and help customers find the best solution for their needs.
- Making contactless deliveries to customers in and around the local area, driving our company transit van.
- Mixing paint for customers, processing specialist orders, and requesting special stock within the branch network.
- Building relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and provide comprehensive service.
- Keeping our warehouse organised and safe, in line with company standards.
- Promoting seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales.
- Unloading deliveries and ensuring stock is distributed throughout the store.
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, able to translate customer requirements into product recommendations.
- Approachable, open and friendly personality; happy to help both customers and colleagues.
- Team player who can also work independently when needed.
- Knowledge of the Gloucester and surrounding area.
- Full clean manual driving licence.
- Motivation to learn, develop skills and progress within the industry.
- Previous retail experience or product knowledge is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
