Demand for our service continues to grow, and we are now looking for an experienced Agent/Associate to join the team.
We specialise in the marketing and sale of premium and individual homes, including resale property, new homes, land and development opportunities. Our approach is detailed, personal and strategic. Every property deserves proper thought, careful preparation and intelligent marketing. Each property and client is individual.

The territory is substantial, stretching from Hartland and North Cornwall in the west, across North Devon and Exmoor to Minehead, covering much of the northern half of Devon.
Responsibilities
- Building trusted relationships with sellers and buyers
- Conducting detailed marketing strategy consultations
- Securing and managing quality property listings
- Negotiating offers with skill and confidence
- Managing sales carefully through to completion
- Collaborating with videographers, social media and digital platforms
- Supporting our land and new homes department
- Generating your own instructions through strong local networking
There is genuine earning potential for the right person. You will build your own profile and business while working as a key part of the immediate local team and within the wider By Design Homes national network. This is a genuinely self‑employed opportunity, suited to an experienced estate agent who wants to operate with independence. Requirements
- Previous estate agency experience – this is a senior role
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Good local property knowledge and strong Devon roots
- Adept with digital marketing, CRM systems and compliance
- Strong attention to detail and high personal standards
- A full driving licence and access to a car
- Confidence with social media and modern property marketing – on camera
- New homes or premium market experience would be an advantage.
We do not believe in passive marketing or leaving results to chance. We believe in preparation, presentation, pricing strategy, buyer qualification, skilled negotiation and proper sale progression.
This is a strong opportunity, but it will not suit everyone. We are looking for someone with the right standards, attitude and judgement. Commission based remuneration only.
