Sales Assistant Volunteer – Chorley Shop

Do you love chatting to people and brightening their day? Join our warm and welcoming team in our Chorley charity shop and help us create a brilliant shopping experience for everyone who walks through the door.

What you’ll be doing:

• Greeting customers with a friendly smile and making them feel welcome
• Helping people find what they’re looking for and answering any questions
• Keeping the shop tidy, organised and inviting
• Serving customers on the till and handling cash/card payments
• Encouraging Gift Aid when donations are dropped off
• Supporting your team and helping create a fun, friendly atmosphere

Wednesday, Friday & Sunday – afternoon hours available (Flexible shifts)

Please note:

• Minimum age for volunteering in our shops is 16yrs
• You must be living in the UK to volunteer in one of our shops
• We ask all applicants to disclose, in confidence, any unspent criminal convictions in advance of a DBS check
• All volunteers are required to wear a uniform, which will be provided free of charge
• This is an unpaid volunteer position in a charity shop
