Sales Executive: Transit Packaging
Territory: West & East Midlands – Birmingham to Leicester.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven Sales track record in Flexible and/or Rigid Packaging in the Transit / Protective Packaging Sectors.
The client is a producer of innovative packaging films for Industrial and Agricultural Markets. They supply end customers directly from local stock and service their needs through their UK Sales Office. The company is focused on product development and innovation, and aims to grow further by strengthening its workforce.
Job Description
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, this business development role focuses on sales of the company’s products to industrial customers. The prime responsibility is to identify prospects for the company’s stretch film products, select the correct product, demonstrate it, provide quotation and usage reports, and close the sale. The role emphasizes consultative selling by creating need and demonstrating value.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will be a commercially astute, highly self‑motivated sales professional with experience of B2B value‑added sales in the packaging sector. As the company’s products work hand in glove with machinery, a practical approach is required. The ability to build and manage a broad pipeline of opportunities with many different clients simultaneously is essential. Effective time management and high competency in MS Office are required.
