Job Description:

Rubrik’s Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are crucial to our go‑to‑market strategy. They hunt outbound and respond to inbound leads, booking high‑quality meetings with potential new customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify high‑potential customers, research Rubrik’s value fit, personalize messaging to prospects, and generate high‑quality new business meetings for the company
  • Drive outbound/inbound activities to prospect enterprise customers via email, social, and phone calls and qualify prospects to set meetings
  • Follow up on inbound leads generated by Marketing, staying within compliance metrics (timely follow‑up and attempts to connect)
  • Collaborate with the field sales team and develop strategies for breaking into new accounts
  • Stay up to date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
  • Be an expert on Rubrik’s solutions and how we help customers keep their businesses running
  • Use Salesforce and Salesloft to manage leads and sales activities
  • Own your sales targets and report results to stakeholders
  • Develop on‑the‑fly thinking and learn through pitch competitions, boot camps, training, and peer coaching
  • Receive ongoing coaching and development from managers
  • Work in office 3–5 days a week (location based) for active coaching and peer camaraderie

Experience You’ll Need

  • 0–2 years of sales‑oriented work, B2B sales, marketing, and/or lead generation experience
  • Native or fluent in German
  • Experience in customer service
  • Interest and ability to learn technical concepts quickly
  • Desire for a successful career in sales/business development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—succinct, professional emails, LinkedIn messages, and phone calls
