Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a background in solar or adjacent industries (e.g., energy, utilities, HVAC, construction, or green tech). This role is ideal for someone skilled in outbound prospecting, lead generation, and qualifying opportunities within a high‑growth, mission‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via cold calls, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified leads
  • Identify and engage decision‑makers in residential and commercial solar markets
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria and sales readiness
  • Schedule discovery calls and demos for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities and pipeline in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to optimize outreach strategies
  • Stay up to date on solar industry trends, incentives, and competitive offerings
  • 2+ years of experience in a Sales Development Representative, BDR, or outbound sales role
  • Proven experience in solar or adjacent industries (renewable energy, utilities, HVAC, construction, or similar)
  • Strong track record in cold calling, lead generation, and pipeline building
  • Excellent communication and objection‑handling skills
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms
  • Highly self‑motivated with the ability to work remotely and hit targets consistently
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
