sales assistant plus general office and factory work

• Serving both retail and trade customers on the sales counter and assisting customers with product knowledge and advising on lead times etc.
• Taking card and cash payments.
• Creating cash sale invoices, sales orders and delivery notes for account customers.
• Assisting in the goods in process—updating daily delivery board and matching purchase orders with delivery notes.
• Assisting with the goods out process—ensuring collection notes are signed and loading customers.
• Replenishing stock and stock taking.
• General cleaning in shop and factory area when quiet.
• Assisting in factory as requested and general gardening around the premises.
• Adhering to the company’s health and safety policy and general rules and procedures.
• Reporting to sales manager and carrying out tasks as required.
• Possibility of counter balance forklift training.
