SEND Teaching Assistant

Fixed Term for one year, term time only + 5 INSET days. 32.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm

Salary: Grade 4 (SCP 6 – 7) £25,989 – £26,403 per annum pro rata. Actual salary: £19,722 – £20,037 (Pay award pending)

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be passionate about SEND and a champion for children’s needs. They will work as part of a team to plan and deliver engaging and appropriate learning opportunities for children with complex needs and share the children’s learning with parents and carers effectively. They will work alongside the SENDCo to implement and monitor individual’s targets and contribute towards EHCP and APDR reviews.
