The Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will support the nursery team in delivering fun and engaging activities while helping to create a positive environment for children’s development and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Supporting children’s learning and development through play based activities
- Helping to create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment
- Assisting with daily routines including meal times and play activities
- Supporting the class team with preparing activities and resources
- Building positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
- Encouraging children’s social and emotional development
Looking For
- Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- A positive, caring, and patient attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for supporting children in their early development
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable but not essential
