GSL Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Level 3 Nursery Assistants to support a variety of nursery and pre‑school settings across Essex. We work with a wide range of friendly and welcoming settings across areas including Chelmsford, Harlow, Brentwood, Maldon, Epping Forest, Colchester, and surrounding locations.
Whether you re looking for a few days a week, regular supply work, or the opportunity to experience different nursery environments, we can offer flexible opportunities to suit you.
About the Role
As a supply Nursery Assistant, no two days will be the same. You ll have the opportunity to work in different Early Years settings, supporting children s learning, development, and wellbeing in safe and engaging environments.
This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, and building positive relationships with young children.
What You ll Be Doing
- Supporting children within nursery and pre‑school settings
- Assisting with play‑based learning and creative activities
- Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
- Supporting children s social, emotional, and communication development
- Assisting with daily routines including snack times and outdoor play
- Working collaboratively with nursery staff and Early Years teams
- Following safeguarding and welfare procedures at all times
What We re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential)
- Experience working within nursery, pre‑school, or childcare settings
- A warm, energetic, and reliable approach
- Flexibility and confidence adapting to different settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for Early Years education
