The Role
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative EYFS learning experiences
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
- Encourage children s social, emotional, and educational development
- Support pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers
- Contribute to the wider school ethos of respect, care, and high expectations
Essential Requirements
Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education.
You will also need:
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young children s learning and development
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
