10 hours per week, term time only plus five INSET days
Pro Rata approximately £5,974 (subject to the National Joint Council (NJC) pay award from April 2026, pending agreement)
Fixed term contract, until 31 August 2027 due to budgetary funding with the potential to become permanent

St. Leonard’s Primary School is offering the opportunity for an energetic, enthusiastic and passionate teaching assistant with a positive work ethic to support our popular after school provision.
St. Leonard’s Primary School is a popular, growing school that currently has over 240 children on roll and a Governor run Nursery. The post will provide the successful candidate an opportunity to be part of our growth story in the next chapter of St Leonard’s journey and development.

Thesuccessful candidate will:
- Hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 or above qualification, suitable for EYFS.
- Have recent and relevant experiences within a primary school setting.
- Be able to work effectively, flexibly and supportively as part of a team.
- Be energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children and in our school.
- Have high expectations of their conduct and act as a role model, leading by example.
- Be prepared to participate in all aspects of St. Leonard’s school life.
