Personal Development Coach

About the Role

As a Personal Development Coach, you will work closely with students from enrolment through to progression, guiding, supporting and challenging learners to develop the behaviours, attitudes and skills they need to succeed in education, employment and life. You will deliver engaging group sessions, provide one‑to‑one coaching and pastoral support, helping students unlock their full potential.

What Skills Are We Looking For

  • A recognised qualification at Level 3 or willingness to work towards one
  • Literacy & Numeracy qualifications to at least Level 2 or equivalent (if you cannot evidence this we can help assess you through Century Tech)
  • Experience of working with young people (16+) in a coaching or mentoring role, voluntary or paid

Responsibilities For The Role

  • Deliver group awareness sessions to students on full‑time study programmes for Personal Development.
  • Support and coach students in a group and one‑to‑one setting to achieve their full potential through robust action planning, target setting and progress monitoring.
  • Monitor student attendance, punctuality, commitment and general awareness of conduct and behaviour.
  • Provide support to students as they navigate through UCAS and the Higher Education system.
