Location: Cardiff (hybrid). Type: Permanent. Salary: £65,000 – £80,000+ (depending on experience), plus uncapped performance‑related bonus.

The role

As a Personal Wealth Adviser, you bring a personal, client‑led approach to financial planning, drawing on each client’s unique story, goals and life aspirations. You will deliver holistic, financial advice to new and existing clients, face‑to‑face and virtually, creating a personalised financial plan that adapts as their life evolves. You will use cash‑flow modelling and financial planning tools to provide clear, insightful advice.

This is not a cold‑start position. You will have the backing of the UK’s largest banking group, using a range of business‑development strategies and expertise to proactively explore the market, onboard new clients and service a constant flow of leads from the wider Lloyds Banking Group, while maintaining a high quality of advice. Robust systems and infrastructure will support you, allowing you to spend more time advising clients.

What you’ll bring

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (Chartered / Level6 welcome but not essential)
  • A strong track record of delivering holistic financial advice
  • Experience building lasting client relationships and generating repeat/referral business
  • Confidence in conducting client meetings and creating tailored financial plans
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including Consumer Duty
  • Experience using cash‑flow modelling to support robust advice recommendations

Lloyds Wealth operates under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime as a solo‑regulated firm. If this role is classed as a Certified Role under that regime you will be subject to enhanced vetting and will have a number of additional conduct and regulatory duties to adhere to, as well as certifying at least annually that you are fit and proper to perform this role.
