Job Overview
We are seeking calm, resourceful, and enthusiastic individuals to support older people in a proactive and holistic manner. Located a 10-minute walk from North Acton and Harlesden stations, our service consists of 99 flats providing personal care.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate advanced skills in positive communication and engagement, offering unconditional positive regard for our service users.
- Support individuals to maintain their mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing, empowering them to achieve their life goals.
- Provide personal care, domestic tasks, and assist individuals in accessing work, education, and social opportunities.
- Work flexibly on a roster basis, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
While previous experience is desirable, it is not essential—we value a can-do attitude. You must embrace all aspects of the role and can choose to be paid weekly or monthly.
Training and Development
Creative Support is committed to your professional development. You will receive a full induction and a level 3 certificate in ‘Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care’. After your probationary period, you will be enrolled in the NVQ level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care. Training and development needs can be discussed during regular supervision and appraisal meetings.
