Summary

We are expanding our Care Relief Bank across our person‑centred supported living services in Gwent. As a Support Worker (Relief), you will play a vital role in delivering consistent, high‑quality care to people with learning and physical disabilities, mental health needs, and autism. Your work will cover sickness, holidays, and rota gaps to ensure a stable, safe, and kind environment for those we support. Flexible working is available to accommodate family commitments, studies, or other responsibilities.

Role

As a Support Worker (Relief), your primary responsibility is to assist individuals in living their lives to the fullest. You will provide personal care, emotional support, ensure health and wellbeing, administer medication, participate in stimulating activities, and involve individuals in a person‑centred approach.

Skills and Experience

A background of working with people with physical or mental health needs is desired but not required. Full training and support will be provided.

Qualifications and Evidence

Pay and Benefits

  • £13.45 per hour.
  • Waking night rate: 20% enhancement from 11pm to 7am.
