We are seeking skilled and qualified CAT B Asbestos Operatives for a short-term project in London. This is a 2‑week assignment involving the removal of asbestos‑containing materials and associated demolition debris. Responsibilities

  • Safely breaking out and removing asbestos‑containing floor tiles.
  • Handling and disposing of demolition debris in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Adhering to all UKATA and HSE guidelines for asbestos removal.
  • Ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining face‑fit standards.
  • Collaborating with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications

  • Valid UKATA Asbestos Awareness Training certification.
  • Current CSCS Card.
  • Face‑fit certification for respiratory protective equipment.
  • Previous experience in asbestos removal and demolition work is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety protocols related to asbestos handling.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Day-to-Day

  • Reporting to the site supervisor at the start of each shift.
  • Conducting pre‑work safety checks and ensuring all equipment is in proper working order.
  • Breaking out floor tiles containing asbestos and safely removing them.
  • Transporting and disposing of demolition materials in accordance with regulations.
  • Communicating any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.
  • Completing daily work logs and adhering to project timelines.
