Role Overview
An exciting opportunity to undertake the role of Uniform Fitter/Storeperson. The role requires measuring and fitting bespoke and off-the-peg uniforms and equipment for Police officers and staff, following force procedures. Process requisitions for picking, issuing, packaging, stocktaking, exchanges, returns and disposal. Manage incoming deliveries, including unloading, checking goods, signing advice notes, placing items into stock, and updating the store record system. The role involves a large element of manual handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out measurement and fitting of bespoke and off-the-peg uniforms and equipment for Police officers and staff.
- Process requisitions for picking, issuing and packaging of uniform and non-uniform items.
- Perform stocktaking duties and process exchanges, returns and disposal of returned items.
- Handle incoming deliveries: unload, check goods, sign advice notes, place items into stock, update store record system.
- Maintain safety and manual handling practices.

- Knowledge of stock control.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office 365 packages.
Candidate Requirements
Must be a UK resident, having lived in the UK continuously for the last three years, and be free of restrictions with indefinite leave to remain.
