Bromley

In this role, you will support the upkeep and maintenance of the college estate, carrying out first‑fix repairs, general maintenance tasks, and assisting with the overall presentation of the buildings and grounds. You will work closely with the wider estates and site management team while also liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and visitors across the site.

The ideal candidate will have practical maintenance or trades experience alongside a positive and proactive attitude. You will be comfortable working hands‑on, supporting contractors on site, and keen to continue developing your technical skills through ongoing training opportunities.

The Role

  • Carry out first‑fix repairs and general maintenance across the school site.
  • Support the upkeep and presentation of buildings, facilities, and grounds.
  • Assist with the coordination and supervision of subcontractors on site.
  • Act as a professional and approachable first point of contact for visitors and contractors.
  • Work closely with the estates and site management team on day‑to‑day operations.
  • Undertake in‑house and external training opportunities to develop technical skills.

The Person

  • General maintenance or trades experience.
  • Practical and hands‑on with good problem‑solving ability.
  • Comfortable dealing with visitors, subcontractors, and suppliers on site.
  • Keen to learn and develop through ongoing training.
  • Reliable, approachable, and able to work well within a team.
  • Must live within a commutable distance to Bromley.
