Position Overview

Permanent

Grade A – £24,796 – £28,142 per annum

Consultation grade – subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review

Working hours – 36.5 hours per week

Location – Hybrid: home working and office based (College Road, Kingstanding & Stonebrook Way, Weoley Castle).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Building and Gas Clerks to join Business Support working with the busy Asset Management team in Birmingham.

Responsibilities

  • The successful applicant will undertake a range of core administration and financial functions in relation to Gas Servicing, Repairs and Voids, using departmental databases and systems as part of daily administrative work. The role is fast paced and KPI driven, requiring accurate and timely completion.
  • You will interact with customers and liaise with internal and external teams and agencies on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experienced administrators, flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure in a busy team where deadlines are crucial.
  • Attention to detail to ensure enquiries are processed consistently, with the ability to maintain confidentiality while complying with data protection.
  • Excellent customer service, IT and administration skills, and a desire to develop skills through regular training and other opportunities.

Training and Development

Full training, mentoring and coaching will be provided to the successful candidate.
