Yard Operative

You must pass a drug and alcohol test for this role.

This is a role for someone who is happy to work inside and outside in various weather conditions, carrying out manual work within a small team of Yard Operatives. It offers opportunities to learn and develop, with training and tickets available such as a forklift licence.

Most important to this role is attitude and reliability – you will be at the Shaftesbury site full time. You may also work in confined spaces and training will be provided for this.

Responsibilities

• Assisting other operatives with the acceptance and disposal of waste.
• Labelling and storage of waste.
• Cleaning of site and associated areas.
• Assisting in stock control.
• Assisting staff with the disposal of containers, drums, IBCs and general site waste.
• Operation of power tools.
