Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, late shift 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility required to work outside these times and cover other shifts.

About the role

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative – Shunter Driver. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role will play a key part of our success journey and you will be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities

• Shunting vehicles in the yard and on the public highway.
• Reporting any obvious vehicle defects to the transport team.
• Using an FLT to safely unload inbound stock.
• Loading stock onto drays for delivery to customers.
• Working closely with the transport and office teams to ensure smooth operations and meet overall site objectives.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all procedures.

Experience and Key Attributes

• A current and valid Class 2 Driver’s Licence and CPC Driver’s Card.
• Experience using FLT or FLT Licence desired – if no licence is held, must be willing to learn as in-house training will be provided.
• Experience shunting and/or yard management.
• Experience working in a warehouse for an FMCG.
