Here at Langdons, we have an amazing opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join the team based in Liverpool. The role is full time, permanent, Monday‑to‑Friday days, with a competitive salary of £28,406.24 per annum plus excellent company benefits.

Responsibilities
- Receive and check loads into the warehouse, ensuring all correct packaging and labelling is in place.
- Ensure all stock handled is secure and complies with relevant food safety standards.
- Operate assigned mechanical handling equipment to store and transport customer goods safely.
- Assist with assembling loads for dispatch and onto vehicles.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure standards of cleanliness and hygiene levels.
- Take action to ensure any hazards are controlled or removed to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Up‑to‑date licence to use designated mechanical equipment.
- IT literate in Microsoft Office packages.
- The ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data.
- Extensive knowledge and application of warehouse, food safety rules and health and safety procedures.
Skills
- Ability to use initiative and to be organised so that key tasks are completed fully and on time.
- Ability to work to set targets and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven arithmetic skills.
- Effective working in a team‑based environment.
