Job Title

Test Operative (Location: Leeds)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper functioning of equipment manufactured in compliance with technical guides, engineering drawings, and rules of art, while ensuring the safety of persons and property in the working area.
• Troubleshoot issues and support assembly technicians in root cause analysis.
• Safely connect units to the mains power supply, ensuring all requirements and protocols are adhered to.
• Read and understand schematic and GA drawings.
• Conduct primary injection testing.
• Perform CT Test and VT Test.
• Conduct secondary injection testing.
• Perform ductor testing and HV pressure testing.
• Conduct secondary wiring insulation testing using Megger and 2KV.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level II, PEO, or equivalent experience (ONC Electrical Level).
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK.
• English fluency.
