Relief Support Worker – Bexhill and St Leonards

Mencap are seeking Relief Support Workers to join our teams in Bexhill and St Leonards on Sea.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with learning disabilities in daily activities at home and in the community.
• Provide emotional support and build meaningful relationships.
• Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and social activities as required.
• Record care activities and report to the supervising team.

• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities
• Standard DBS check and suitable references

Contract Options

• Relief support worker contract in Bexhill and St Leonards on Sea
• 24-hour care with rotas planned at least four weeks in advance
• Optional non-contractual sleep-in available with an enhanced flat rate payment of £64.20 per hour

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary: £25,577 per annum (pro rata)
• Annual salary: £24,402 per annum (pro rata)
