This role
This role supports the smooth day to day running of ATC’s warehouse and yard operations, alongside facilities coordination and administrative support within the office. The position plays a key part in maintaining operational efficiency, safety and compliance, while also assisting the Office Administrator with routine administrative tasks.
The role works closely with Warehouse, Planning, H&S and Office teams to ensure ATC standards are met and customer expectations are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Yard Operations
- Support daily, weekly and monthly warehouse and yard activities across ATC operations.
- Assist with performance and activity reporting, including KPI data where required.
- Ensure warehouse equipment, including ramps, EPTs and tools, are accurately recorded, available and fit for purpose.
- Help structure and organise warehouse activities to ensure efficient use of resources and meet changing customer demands.
- Work with the Planning team using ATC systems, including Teams groups such as “DUB Warehouse OPS”, to track trailers in the yard and equipment requirements.
- Support yard operations to ensure access routes are kept clear and the yard remains safe and organised.
- Assist with trailer shunting activities where trained and authorised.
- Support other ATC sites when required, including cover during leave or preparation for audits.
- Conduct fire drills, alarm tests and oversee first aid kits if replenishment is required.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Work closely with the ATC H&S team to ensure all safety and security procedures are followed.
- Promote safe working practices across warehouse and yard operations.
- Assist with preparing the warehouse and yard for internal and external audits, including TAPA, ISO and customer audits.
- Support the ongoing maintenance of ATC compliance standards.
Facilities Support
- Assist with general facilities coordination to ensure warehouse and office areas remain safe, clean and operational.
- Report maintenance issues and support coordination of repairs, inspections or contractors as required.
Office & Administrative Support
- Provide day to day support to the Office Administrator as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, document control and record keeping.
- Help maintain accurate records relating to warehouse operations, equipment, compliance and audits.
- Support internal communication and coordination between warehouse and office teams.
Skills, Experience & Requirements
Essential
- Flexible approach with the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Confident using basic IT systems, including email and Microsoft tools.
- Clear communication skills and a practical, hands‑on approach.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or facilities environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures within an operational setting.
- Experience using MS SharePoint or similar systems.
- Forklift or Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) experience or licence.
- Experience with inventory management or audit preparation.
- Fire Marshal/First Aid trained.
