Bakery Operatives (Dougies Goodies)

Job Description:

As a Bakery Operative (or as we like to call it, The Baker’s Right-Hand Hero), you’ll be the unsung hero of our bakery, helping our bakers as they bake our famous cakes and bakes. Think of yourself as the glue that holds the bakery together!

Responsibilities:

1. Helping Hands: Assist bakers with daily tasks — from passing the flour to saving the last tray of cupcakes from overbaking.
2. Prep Pro: Weighing and prepping ingredients, baking simple recipes such as our famous icing, creams and jellies to ensure our bakers are always good to go!
3. Dish Duty: Keeping our trays, bowls, and utensils sparkling like they’ve just stepped out of a dishwasher commercial.
4. Clean‑Up Crew: Sweeping away stray sprinkles and mopping up any frosting mishaps. No one likes a sticky floor!
5. Organisation Extraordinaire: Keeping things neat and tidy, so our bakers can focus on creating their masterpieces.
