About the Role

gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for 12 Warehouse Operatives for their pallets repairing operations. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable using tools such as hammers or nail guns; however, full training will be provided to those who may not have prior experience. The work environment may be noisy.

Responsibilities

• Repairing broken and damaged pallets
• Use of hand tools
• Manual handling and lifting techniques to move pallets around
• Quality checking on all repaired pallets
• Adding nails, replacing
• Sanding
• Operating a narrow aisle

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm – shifts are rotational; all employees must work both shifts, rotating weekly

Hourly Pay Rates

• Basic Rate – £13.25 p/h
• OT paid after completion of 40 hours at £14.25
• Bonus scheme available on achieving team targets – once bonus achieved, rate per hour is £17.25

Requirements

Successful candidates will have a can-do attitude, be reliable and have a good attendance record from previous employers.
