Warehouse Person – Grimsby

Driver Hire Grimsby & Scunthorpe are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Person to join a well-established business in the Grimsby area on a temp-to-perm basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is reliable, hardworking and looking to build a long-term career with genuine opportunities for progression and development. Full training will be provided, with the intention of developing the successful candidate into more advanced roles within the business.

The Role

The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of warehouse duties including:

• Receiving and checking stock
• Picking customer orders
• Stock control and stock management
• Loading vans
• Operating warehouse equipment including FLT and cable cutting machinery
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Using technology to monitor and manage stock levels
• Supporting Health & Safety procedures
• Problem solving and improving warehouse performance

Hours

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Saturday mornings on a rota basis

What We’re Looking For

• Good attention to detail
• Strong time management skills
• A positive and reliable attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Warehouse experience beneficial but not essential
• FLT experience/licence advantageous, although training may be provided
