Warehouse Operative
Apply today to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client’s busy Distribution Centre at Emerald Park, Folly Brook Road, BS16 7FE.
Opportunity to earn £459 weekly in first 12 weeks of experience and £555 weekly after 12 weeks of experience on site (based on 34 hours worked a week).
This is an ongoing position with the possibility of going from temporary to permanent!
Daily pay rates:
- First 12 weeks: £13.50 per hour; weekends £17.41 per hour.
- After 12 weeks: £16.33 per hour; weekends £20.41 per hour.
- Performance bonus.
- A weekend bonus of 20% is paid on top of the normal rate.
This is a full‑time role working fixed shifts, 5 out of 7. The hours of work are:
- Chill 1:00pm to 9:30pm (finishing time may vary with daily volumes, latest finish at 9:30pm).
This role would not be suitable for students due to shift requirements.
Your time at work
As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for handling goods and your day‑to‑day duties will include:
- Picking produce and selecting stock.
- Stacking items into cages.
- Delivering items and cages to the loaders.
- Using manual handling equipment in a busy environment.
- Heavy lifting up to 25kg.
Our ideal worker
Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment, can meet targets and deadlines, speaks English at a conversational level, and has experience in a similar role.
