Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of hoists and other equipment
- Support with medication administration and record-keeping
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if required
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Carry out light domestic duties (e.g., laundry, cleaning)
- Promote independence and encourage client involvement in daily activities
- Follow individual care plans and report changes in health or well‑being
Requirements
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential – full training provided
- A genuine passion for helping others
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability, honesty, and a caring nature
- Right to work in the UK
- A valid UK driving licence
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) fee paid
