Private Shopping Stock Operative

About the Role

We are looking for a Stock Operative to join our fast‑paced Private Shopping team at the iconic Knightsbridge store. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Private Shopping function. You will take ownership of stock flow, client order handling, and overall operational readiness, maintaining the exceptional standards expected at Harrods. You will coordinate stock movements across locations, pack and dispatch client orders with care and precision, and support Private Shoppers and Client Managers in fulfilling client requests.

• Coordinating stock movements across locations.
• Packing and dispatching client orders with care and precision.
• Supporting Private Shoppers and Client Managers in fulfilling client requests.
• Maintaining operational readiness and exceptional standards.

Qualifications

• Reliable and proactive team player with a strong focus on supporting colleagues and clients.
• Strong organisational and polished approach.
• Confident and approachable, building positive working relationships while managing a busy and varied workload.
• Strong awareness of safety and security, taking pride in work.
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting and moving boxes up to 20kg within compact spaces.
• Able to confidently carry items, including navigating stairs.
• Follow safety and security procedures at all times.
• Support with a range of ad‑hoc tasks as required.
