Up to £38,000 + Van + Fuel Card

Overview

• Working for a large property services contractor
• Supporting a London-based social housing contract
• Delivering damp, mould and condensation remediation works
• Working across occupied residential housing stock
• Improving health, safety and living conditions for residents
• Using mobile digital systems to record works and progress
• Part of a long-term housing maintenance framework

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out damp, mould and condensation inspections
• Identify root causes of moisture and ventilation issues
• Treat affected areas using approved anti-mould methods
• Complete patch plastering and surface preparation works
• Undertake painting and redecoration in affected areas
• Carry out minor repairs including sealing and finishing works
• Record all job details using PDA/mobile reporting systems
• Liaise with supervisors and planners to manage workload
• Communicate professionally with residents in occupied homes
• Provide reassurance and clear explanations to tenants
• Ensure all works meet required quality standards
• Comply fully with Health & Safety procedures and PPE use
• Work safely in occupied residential environments
• Support efficient delivery of responsive repair services
• Participate in out-of-hours/emergency rota when required

Requirements

• Experience in damp & mould remediation or general maintenance
• Strong skills in decorating, painting or plastering
• Understanding of condensation, damp and ventilation issues
• Full UK driving licence
• Own basic hand tools
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in occupied properties
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety in social housing
