Job Summary
Buffalo Rock, an award‑winning Pepsi‑Cola bottler in Birmingham, AL, is hiring for the Vertique Level 1 position. The role is responsible for ensuring timely and correct replenishment of product and reworking damaged cases back into inventory.
Essential Functions
- Maintain regular and timely attendance, working all hours necessary to support operations, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Move product from pallets to conveyor lines within the automated Vertique system, move empty pallets to designated removal areas, dispose of damaged cases, rework good product for inventory, clean the assigned work area and perform other duties as assigned.
- Keep all assigned conveyor lanes full with correct product as directed by the lighting system.
- Pull empty pallets and wrap them out of pick areas to proper locations.
- Communicate with replenishers and system operators via radio throughout the shift on system status.
- Assist other tower areas as appropriate and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Program GMPs, participate in food‑safety training, report potential issues, and complete all training curriculum.

Physical Demands
All tasks are physically demanding. Employees must be able to lift product up to 30 lbs. on a repetitive basis and up to 50 lbs. intermittently, lift above shoulder height, move and stack pallets up to 65 lbs., stand, walk, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and wear required personal protective equipment.
Required Education and Experience
- High School graduate or GED – preferred.
- Ability to read product packaging and communicate in English via radio.
