Mencap is seeking compassionate and dedicated Relief Support Workers to provide care and support to individuals with learning disabilities in Cardigan.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities and meet the unique needs of people with learning disabilities.
• Provide emotional support and help build meaningful relationships.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Genuine passion for supporting others.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Positive, empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
• All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.

Contract & Pay

• Relief: 0 hour contact.
• Non-contractual sleep‑in available with enhanced flat‑rate payment of £64.20.
• £13.45 per hour plus excellent employee benefits.
• £26,228 per annum pro‑rata plus benefits.

Benefits & Working Conditions

• All services are 24‑hour care.
• Rotations prepared at least 4 weeks in advance.
• Annual leave entitlement based on hours accrued.
