Overview
Belmont Recruitment is currently seeking experienced recovery workers to join a reputable private charity in Liverpool. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the community on a rolling contract basis, with the potential for long-term engagement.
Responsibilities
Work with substance misuse clients and rough sleepers to prevent present and future homelessness through the residential service. Use interventions to aid residents through their recovery with a weekly timetable tailored to each client. Support residents by collaborating with external agencies and with detoxification teams. Deliver individual and group sessions, facilitate recovery plans, and provide harm reduction advice and interventions for blood‑borne viruses (BBVs).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Enhanced DBS required
- Hourly rate: £17‑£20 (dependent on experience)
- Working hours: 37.5 hrs per week Monday to Friday
- Contract duration: Minimum of 3 months, with potential for extension
