Hours

• Full-time, any 5 days out of 7
• Chilled: 6am to 2pm and 1pm to 9pm
• Ambient: 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm
• Produce: 1pm to 9pm

The role of Warehouse Operative:

• Voice picking using LLOPs in an ambient environment
• Picking and packing cages and pallets in a chilled environment
• Ensuring all picking is completed to the required standards
• Using MHE and other warehouse duties as required
• Picking, stacking and manually handling stock items
• Ensuring orders are assembled correctly to support store colleagues
• Maintaining a clear and tidy warehouse and ensuring any potential hazards are dealt with safely, quickly and efficiently
• Making sure stock is received, stored, packed and transported according to the highest standards
• Taking responsibility for your own and others’ safety whilst at work
• Working both independently and as part of a team

The ideal Warehouse Operative:

• Able to meet customer performance standards
• Able to adhere to health and safety policies and procedures
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential

This role involves picking and packing food products for a UK leading supermarket.

The role is physically demanding and involves manual handling, twisting and turning, and heavy lifting of up to 25kg.
