Yard Labourer

The Best Connection are recruiting Yard Labourer to join our client’s team on a ongoing basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. This role is based predominantly outdoors and involves heavy manual work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys physical, hands‑on roles in the construction industry.

Location: Redhill

Industry: Construction

Pay Rate: £13 an hour

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting and moving heavy items within the yard
• Cleaning and preparing equipment for use
• Ensuring all yard areas remain health and safety compliant
• Supporting day‑to‑day operations during a busy period
• Carrying out general yard duties as required

Requirements

• Happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work
• Keen attention to detail to maintain health and safety standards
• Reliable and hardworking with a strong work ethic
• Must have own transport due to the site being difficult to access
