Play Worker

Play Worker (Level 3 Qualified) – Location: Perton (WV6) Staffordshire – Contract: Flexible / Supply / Long‑term opportunities available – Employer: Smile Education – Salary: £80‑£100 per day.

The Role

• Supporting children aged 0–5 within nursery and Early Years environments
• Delivering engaging, play‑based activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
• Supporting children’s social, emotional and physical development
• Working collaboratively with practitioners and following setting policies and procedures

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years
• Have experience working within Early Years or nursery settings
• Demonstrate a caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Be reliable, adaptable and confident working in different settings
