Position: Porter

Location: Riverwalk House, 161 Millbank, SW1P 4FA

Working Hours: 4 days on, 4 days off 0800 – 2000

Salary: £29,705 per annum (depending on experience)

Contract: Permanent, live‑in with accommodation provided

Development Details

This role is based at Riverwalk, a prestigious riverside development comprising 116 homes on Millbank in Westminster, SW1P, designed by award‑winning architects Stanton Williams and completed in 2015. Set on the north bank of the Thames, the development offers residents a gymnasium, yoga studio and well‑maintained communal areas, with many homes enjoying panoramic views across the river. Pimlico Underground Station (Victoria line) is a short walk away.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

As a Porter at Rendall & Rittner, you will:

Manage incoming queries, diary records and daily reporting.
Receive and securely handle postal and courier deliveries as required.
Monitor CCTV, fire alarms and entry systems.
Key‑holding duties, with accurate logging for residents, contractors and authorised personnel.
Report and coordinate repairs or service breakdowns with contractors via the Property Manager.
Provide support in emergency situations, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
Supervise contractors and builders on site, enforcing building protocols and reporting breaches.
Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials, bin bags and other supplies.
Carry out traditional porter duties including bin management and resident access support.
