Salary: £12.71 per hour (1‑hour break daily)

We are recruiting Yard Recycling Picker Operatives to work for our client in the Paddock Wood area. The role involves sorting through commercial recycled waste, working within a refuse environment and remaining flexible throughout the day. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00‑17:00.

Responsibilities

• Remove waste products from designated collection areas while being mindful of large machinery.
• Manually transfer waste materials as required.
• Recycle any product identified as recyclable on the picking line; the work can be dusty.
• Work outdoors in a covered yard with open sides; dress appropriately for weather conditions.
• Maintain high attention to health & safety for oneself and others, given proximity to moving machinery and a busy environment.
• Escalate any client queries or dissatisfaction to the management team.
• Work independently or as part of a team during the work day.
• Own transport is essential due to the location.
• Wear hi‑vis clothing and safety boots at all times.
• The work environment is dusty.
