Job Description
Help create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere by supporting the daily running of the café. You’ll help ensure every visitor has a positive experience, while supporting the smooth delivery of our services and helping our hospices and centres feel safe and comforting for all.
Availability
3 hours (or more) any weekday
Time
Anytime between 10:00am and 2:30pm
Location
Marie Curie Hospice, Cardiff and the Vale, Bridgeman Road, Penarth CF64 3YR
Criteria
Min 16 years of age or older
What you’ll do
- Welcome visitors and offer friendly, helpful service
- Prepare and serve light refreshments (tea, coffee, snacks)
- Keep the café clean, tidy, and well-stocked
- Operate the till, handle card and cash transactions
- Promote a warm and inclusive environment
- Support the smooth running of the café overall
