7.5T Delivery Driver

Overview

Driver Hire Reading are currently looking for a 7.5T delivery driver to work with our client in Reading. Our client is one of the UK’s leading suppliers to the tool and plant hire sector.

Responsibilities

The general duties of this role will involve driving a 7.5T vehicle to customer sites for the delivery or collection of tools or small plant equipment.

Pay

• £15.00 per hour Basic rate.
• £17.00 per hour Overtime rate.

These rates are paid on a PAYE model, and are inclusive of advanced holiday pay.

There is a minimum of 8 hours pay per shift.

Requirements

Suitable candidates will have the following:

• A full and valid UK driving licence, with CAT C1 entitlement.
• No more than 6 points (minor offences only).
• Current and valid CPC and Digi-Tacho cards.
• Previous commercial driving experience.
• Attainable references in a driving capacity.
• Appropriate PPE (Safety shoes & Hi-viz).
